My current DPhil research at the University of Oxford focuses on domestic maintenance and the lived experience of elites in Rome between AD 200-600. Various sources of evidence—including finds, architecture, legal texts, and topography—are approached as part of the larger image of transformation in cities during and after the disintegration of the Roman Empire.
