Making Medusa

Try your hand at puppet-making in this FREE craft and storytelling workshop for the Being Human Festival, where you’ll learn more about ancient myth as you create your own snake to add to the head of our larger-than-life moving Medusa puppet.
Discover the secrets of the mythical Medusa – is the snake-haired monster, who turned to stone all who saw her, really as terrifying as you might think?
This is a drop-in event and is suitable for a family audience. All under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
The event runs from 11am-3.30pm and you are welcome to drop in whenever you wish between these times (last entry at 3pm). Craft activities will be ongoing between these times; there will also be storytelling sessions at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
