Part of the 2018 Being Human Festival, and hosted by St. Margaret’s House, this is one of a series of free special events exploring the connection between textile-making and storytelling in women’s lives from ancient Greece to modern London. Award-winning textile artist Majeda Clarke will lead this weaving workshop in which you will weave your own unique ‘story’ using a hand loom. No experience is necessary and all materials are provided, although you are invited to bring small fabric scraps or personal items (beads, buttons, or sentimental objects) to embellish your woven piece.
Suggested age: 14+
