Digital Classics Advisory Committee

Digital media are a key means by which ICS and SAS fulfil their national and global remits. They are fundamental to our publication operations, as a means of making our events as widely available as possible, as a means of engaging the public in our work, and of publicising it, as a way of providing resources for the national community, and to the development of the Combined Library. The ICS also has a potential role in coordinating research projects in this area, in promoting national and international collaborations, and in curating their outputs.

This committee will assist the ICS staff, and in particular the Reader in Digital Classics, to formulate strategy, to keep track of emerging possibilities in a fast moving field, and to design particular digital projects.
