Professor Gregory Crane, ST Lee Visiting Professorial Fellow

Professor Gregory Crane, Alexander von Humboldt Professor of Digital Humanities at the University of Leipzig and Profeesor of Classics at Tufts University,  takes up his ST Lee Visiting Professorial Fellowship at the School of Advanced Study in May and June and will be based in the Institute of Classical Studies. During his stay Professor Crane will be holding a series of lectures and events around the UK on the theme 'Greek, Latin and Digital Philology in a Global Age'.

EpiDoc Workshop, London, April 11-15, 2016 We invite applications for a 5-day training workshop on digital editing of epigraphic and papyrological texts, to be held in the Institute of Classical Studies, University of London, April 11-15, 2016. The workshop will be taught by Gabriel Bodard (ICS), Simona Stoyanova (KCL) and Pietro Liuzzo (Heidelberg / Hamburg). There will be no charge for the workshop, but participants should arrange their own travel and accommodation.

The ICS has one of the largest research libraries in the UK for all aspects of classics, it runs seven standing seminar series and hosts numerous conferences and other events.
