EpiDoc Workshop, London, April 11-15, 2016 We invite applications for a 5-day training workshop on digital editing of epigraphic and papyrological texts, to be held in the Institute of Classical Studies, University of London, April 11-15, 2016. The workshop will be taught by Gabriel Bodard (ICS), Simona Stoyanova (KCL) and Pietro Liuzzo (Heidelberg / Hamburg). There will be no charge for the workshop, but participants should arrange their own travel and accommodation.
PROFESSOR GEOFFREY WAYWELL We are sad to announce the death on 16th February of Professor Geoffrey Waywell, Director of the ICS between 1997 and 2004, and an Honorary Fellow of the Institute.

Doctoral Study at the ICS The Institute of Classical Studies is now accepting applications for doctoral study. The ICS has one of the largest research libraries in the UK for all aspects of classics, it runs seven standing seminar series and hosts numerous conferences and other events. It has strong links to the British Museum, the British Schools overseas and other partners, and is at the centre of one of the largest communities of classics researchers on the planet.
